Hybrasil's first release with Awesome Soundwave entails two deep, jackin’ and pure techno tracks that are instantly recognisable with his signature stripped and heavy funk.

Hybrasil’s work as a live artist comes from a diverse background in Dublin and Berlin where he has honed his techno sensibilities to produce a solid block of pure, dark and deep machine driven emotion.

The Hybrasil live project debuted back in 2016, and what followed was a series of digital/vinyl releases on his own eponymous label and a number of key performances at festivals and clubs across the continent. His most ambitious project took five years to develop. For this, he wrote a live show entitled ‘Spaces’, performed before Jeff Mills & the National Concert Orchestra at Dublin’s Bord Gais Theatre.

Having previously released on the famous Rekids label and his own imprint Hybrasil has since performed with ASW Live and is now working on his album for Awesome Soundwave which will come in due course (we never rush our artists.. But we do challenge them to push the envelope!)

Experimentation and improvisation are at the core of the Hybrasil concept. In 2020 Hybrasil delivered his first audio visual collaboration ‘We Don’t Flip’ with Tom Hodgkinson of Bristol based design studio ‘Shop’. ‘We Don’t Flip'' was released on Rekids (July 2020).

With the Dezik EP we find Hybrasil bringing some of his finest work yet and we are proud to be able to present these fine tracks to you alongside a further collaboration with visual artist Tom Hodgkinson which we will premier on our ASW YouTube channel during the release.
